How does this work?
The same checks our SEO software runs every morning on our own site and our clients': title, description, headings, text length, server speed, mobile, structured data, language, readability. It is a snapshot of one page — a good first impression, not a full audit.
What we check
- Findability. Page title and meta description (length and content), one H1, heading order, how much text there is, canonical, noindex, the shape of the URL.
- Technical. HTTPS, server speed, mobile viewport, page weight, images with alt text and dimensions.
- Rich results. Structured data (schema.org) and Open Graph tags, so Google, WhatsApp and AI search engines know what to show.
- Readability. Sentence length, paragraph length, subheadings, passive voice and transition words — Flesch for English, Flesch-Douma for Dutch.
What the score means
Above 85 the basics are in place and it is about copy and links. Between 60 and 85 you are leaving positions on the table that a few hours of work win back. Below 60 the technology holds you back, however good the copy. The score says nothing about your competition; that takes an audit.
