Who we are

GOAT Pixels, an independent web studio in Amsterdam (KvK 82724822), is the controller for the personal data described here. Questions and requests: info@goatpixels.com.

What we collect, and why

The contact form. Your name, e-mail address and message. They are stored on our server and sent to our mailbox so we can reply. We keep them for as long as the conversation is useful to both of us; ask and we delete them.

The client portal. If you are a client, an account (e-mail address, a password stored as a hash) and the files, reports and messages that belong to your project. We keep project records for the duration of the work and as long as Dutch tax law requires us to keep the invoices that go with them (seven years).

Server logs. Like every server, ours records requests (IP address, page, time) for security and to keep the site running. Logs are rotated and are not used to profile anyone.

What we do not do

No advertising, no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics scripts, no data brokers. The site loads nothing from other companies' servers — fonts, scripts and images all come from goatpixels.com. We do not sell, rent or share personal data.

Cookies

One cookie, and only after you log in to the portal: the session that keeps you logged in. Your light/dark theme choice is kept in your browser's local storage. There are no marketing or analytics cookies, so there is no cookie banner.

Where the data lives

On a server in Amsterdam (DigitalOcean's AMS3 region), with backups so we can restore the site if something breaks. E-mail travels through our mail provider like any other e-mail.

Google Search Console

We read Google's reports about how goatpixels.com appears in search results. That is Google's data about search queries, not about you as a visitor, and it identifies nobody.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it — mail us and we answer within a working day. If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
